WHO’s Dr. Tedros & Deepika Padukone’s Talk Has Been Put On A Halt

Deepika Padukone is one of the most influential personalities of the nation. She has been constantly working to help society in whatever terms she can stand up as a role model to millions.

Her life has not been the smoothest ride and the same landed her in the deep and muddy grounds of mental sickness. She had suffered from her mental health and she has been vocal about it. With the same, she has always been encouraging her followers and fans to talk about their mental health and to seek help whenever they need it. For the same, she has also established a foundation called Live Love Laugh where people suffering from their mental health can get assistance and the help they require.

Keeping the same in mind, she understands how being trapped inside the four walls of your house can cause a serious impact on your mental well being.

A person can face all kinds of conditions from the anxiety of being forced inside or feeling trapped and depressive. People may even get frustrated with the lack of human contact in the present condition which can trigger the harm to their mental health.

Following the same, Deepika had announced she will be going on a live session with WHO’s Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the 23rd of April. However, the session could not take place. The reasons have not been specified by her on the same but it was announced that the conditions were not favorable and so the session had to be put on a halt for now.

Deepika was going to conduct the session on the Live of her social media but later she announced the postponing news of the session on her social media network itself.

She announced that she regrets to inform that the session “Prioritizing mental health during the pandemic and beyond,” which was being conducted with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on 23rd of April has to be put on hold because of unforeseen and completely unavoidable circumstances.

She continued saying that mental health is a serious aspect of this current situation of pandemic and is absolutely unavoidable. She has not given out a confirmed date of the rescheduled session with the Director-General of WHO but we are hopeful she will make it happen for the sake of the humongous population of this country.

Deepika Padukone is one of the most followed names of the nation and she has a great impact on the hearts and minds of the citizens of this country. There have been so many times she has taken a stand and has spoken about social evils and invalid beliefs that the society preaches and has been able to actively work to rectify the same.

She had herself struggled with her mental health for about 2 years of span but had never lost her adorable smile. She kept herself together even when she was falling apart. With the same, she understands how important it is for a human being to get the right help at the right time to let them suffer less with the trauma.

Mental health is a real aspect that can even kill humans at times. If there is someone around you who is suffering make sure you be the help or at least to try to get them some. In the situation of this crisis that has become a trouble for the entire human race, this is the least we can do for humans around us. be the help they seek, be a friend, and be there for people.
